The Initiative Supports Summer Internship in Afghanistan Program Partner, Teach For Afghanistan

July 1, 2018

The Initiative is a proud supporter of Summer Internship in Afghanistan Program partner, Teach for Afghanistan's Global Giving crowdfunding campaign!

Teach for Afghanistan's mission is to create a movement of collective leadership by empowering young Afghan men and women in the most under-resourced schools to ensure all Afghan children have the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

Teach for Afghanistan provides an opportunity to Afghanistan's most promising university graduates, including students and alumnae of The Initiative, to support or serve as full-time teachers to children in the country's most under-resourced schools. Both the internship and fellowship journey develop leadership skills with constant support and mentoring. Teach for Afghanistan believes in decreasing the gender gap in education by inspiring more female graduates to become interns and fellows.

Teach for Afghanistan is based in two Provinces, Nangarhar and Parwan and has placed 230 fellows in 69 schools impacting +60,000 students.

If you are not able to support financially, please forward and share the campaign with other compassionate loving human beings who would love to give and support. Let’s make this world peaceful place together for all the children!
