Adela Raz (Simmons College 2008 | Tufts Fletcher School 2010) Replaces Mahmoud Saikal as Afghanistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Kabul, Afghanistan - Monday, December 31, 2018 - The Initiative congratulates alumna Adela Raz (Simmons College 2008 | Tufts Fletcher School 2010), Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, who has been appointed as Afghanistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations, replacing the country’s currrent permanent representative, Mahmoud Saikal.
